Hmmm...I like the overlays a lot more in this one...but something still isn't quite right...I dunno. I can't put my finger on it.
 The spike is kinda bugging me now, but this isn't my final terrain for this surface scheme...I'll be using a dry river bed kinda terrain. Sorry for the little ramble there...LOL...anyway, this is the surface I'm trying to develop for my ~TerraSpace collab with =zycloneTerragen render Rendersize: 6000x4500 Rendertime: 13 hours Terrain: 4097x4097 WM 1.0 terrain Feedback would be appreciated on this one!!  I agree the spike is the less realistic looking part. the picture looks great though

 -- This account is old, new account is =rushpoint!  The spike breaks it up a bit, it shows that it´s 3d right away. But the rest is really good, great job with the atmosphere and the clouds. They create a great feel of distance, and the horizontal way of the clouds really support the "dead" feel of the terrain. Also the texture on the ground looks ace, I´m sure the collab will blow some minds.

 You are getting so good at this, I think You are becoming one of my all time favorite Terragen Landscape artists. One thing I've noticed since renderosity, is how fast your abilities move forward. Your learning curve is way above most of us. This piece of work looks completely real. Outstanding. Anyone who knows terragen knows, this is a fabulous piece. FAV.
