The sun rises. A beautiful image in time as it peers between the Twin Spires. However the beauty is fleeting...as the reality of the harshness of the desert sets in...a dry, choking place. The duality is striking in the contrast between the beauty we see...and the harshness of the reality.

Resubmitting for prints and because I had to re-render the whole dang thing. Thanks for the suggestion, Stijn. You were soooo right! ;) :D

I re-rendered my Twin Spires Daybreak image, although I had to do it from scratch. :P The reason I had to do it from scratch is because I had not saved my .tgw file and so all the settings were lost. :no: Lesson learned...people, always save your .tgw files!!! :lmao: I got the POV and lighting just about identical...and the surfaces were saved in a different .tgw file thankfully. I did tweak the surfaces a bit though. ;) I needed to re-render it again anyway because the original was too small for poster size prints. Here is the lovely...and much larger version. The old one is going into my scraps now.

Terragen render.
Rendersize: 6000x4500 pixels.
Rendertime: 7.5 hours
Terrain: El Mocambo II by ~hillrunner

Epic proportions are the name of your game. Absolutely brilliant. I love the lighting and the fog on this one. One side of the picture has that misty depth, and the other has a harsh desert. brilliant.

Question... are you going to submit our collab to prints sometime? ;)

I remember Twin Spires :) Must have been about a year ago hey? Maybe less... 10 months?
